You guys, back in the day I was a hugeSpice Girls fan. The group skyrocketed to fame in America when I was 9 or 10 years old, which made me the perfect audience for simple, fun songs about Girl Power and sappy ballads about boys. I was hooked, and I still carry a huge nostalgia for all the members of the group and wish them well in their solo endeavors. Luckily, they all seem to be doing well, and I’m sure that the Spice Girl residual checks don’t hurt.

 Baby Spice Emma Bunton seems to be doing particularly well, simply based on these photos. Somehow, magically, it looks as though she hasn’t aged a day. That rarely happens for fair-haired women of British backgrounds; normally, the years are less than kind, perhaps because of their lack of melanin and the cultural encouragement toward lots of beer-drinking. Somehow, though, Emma has managed to avoid that trap and still look fresh and young more than 15 (wow) years after her introduction to American fame. Oh, and of course, I can’t forget to mention her beautiful Chloe Paraty Bag.
